What happens at Expand Your Impact?

Continue to grow the success of your project or enterprise with Make a Change Australia, at Expand Your Impact.

Saturday 13th of August is your last chance to get free support, training and inspiration to move your projects forward. You will receive professional, community and personal development to assist you with:

•    building your vision,
•    mobilising your “A” team,
•    talking it up to expand your reach
•    and being resource rich.

So what does this actually mean? You will receive incredibly useful training, with essential skills that you will use again and again. Each of the four workshop sessions are loaded with take away resources; with the aim to make implementing your initiative less challenging and difficult and even more rewarding.

“The momentum is incredible in this community. There are so many diverse and innovative initiatives getting ready to expand and make an impact on the life of everyone in the community,” smiles Karen. “We know how hard it can be to make a project or enterprise happen. Expand Your Impact is a workshop that ensures that your valuable time and energy delivers your vision!”

We would like you to meet some of the great people doing great things, who are attending.

A leader behind the massive grass roots movement Hanging Rock Action Group; Luke Speilvogel, pictured above, is signed up to gain new skills to build the community’s success. “I’m attending Expand Your Impact because I’m time poor and I want to build skills to be more efficient and effective in the community work I do.”

Eileen French is from Romsey and is working on Welcome Packs for newcomers, as well as lots of other initiatives for the elderly. Since Let’s Nut It Out, she has met with Deb from Ray White, and Deb has agreed to put the welcome packs in her business. Right now Eileen is in the process of collating the packs and working with local businesses to assist with promotion.

“I’m coming to Expand Your Impact because I am passionate about stimulating people to be active, especially the older generation who are often living alone.” Eileen wants to get support, a pat on the back—and also discover new ways of spreading the word about her projects.

Deb Bailey is going to Expand Your Impact, because she is involved in organising an community emergency response system for Lancefield and surrounding towns. She says, “I want to know how to organise and how to get people involved.”

Expand Your Impact is on this Saturday 13th of August from 9.30am until 5.00pm, at Lancefield Guesthouse, 71 Main Road, Lancefield. It’s free for residents in the Lancefield-Benloch-Romsey region (normally $250 per person). Everyone is welcome, but places are limited, register by Thursday the 11th of August to secure your place.
