Local groups, organisations and caring individuals are coming together on 27 July at La Trobe University Bendigo, to think Outside the Square on the theme “Connecting: People. Land. Food. Life”.
The gathering will be an opportunity to connect, share ideas and get inspired about how each and every one of us can play a part in a healthier future for ourselves and our environment.
From sustainable agriculture, to healthy eating for kids, youth enjoying the outdoors, and ways we can all connect to nature, there will be a range of interesting speakers who are all keen to explore the topic from different angles.
With over 100 people already registered, including people from smaller towns outside of Bendigo, the evening is set to create new thinking, connections, pathways and next steps for solutions to health and environmental challenges faced at the local level.
Whether thinking about this for the first time, or already actively involved, everyone is invited to participate via online discussions, or attending the Outside the Square gathering “Connecting: People. Land. Food. Life” on Thursday 27 July.
It’s not too late to register, but get in quick! Register here….
