Greta Thunberg is our current hero, as she seems to understand a little action goes a long way…
We’ve chatted to lots of people over the last couple of months – farmers, neighbours, service providers, students, sports clubs, health enthusiasts, shop owners and more. We’ve heard lots of stories about weather and climate.
Like Greta, it gets us thinking, how can we all get into action?
In Central Victoria, we’re encouraging you to get into action by telling us what you reckon and attending events, as part of our Ramp Up Resilience initiative.
In the meantime, we highly recommend you watch the following speeches by Greta Thunberg:
Greta Thunberg full speech at UN Climate Change COP24 Conference: ‘You’re never to small to make a difference’
Greta Thunberg, speech at Davos: ‘Act as though your house is on fire’
Greta Thunberg, speech to MP’s at the Houses of Parliament in Westminister
“The moment we decide to fulfil something, we can do anything. And I’m sure that the moment we start behaving as if we were in an emergency, we can avoid climate and ecological catastrophe. Humans are very adaptable: we can still fix this. But the opportunity to do so will not last for long. We must start today. We have no more excuses.”
You can get into action by participating in Ramp Up Resilience questionnaire and events. Find out more and register now.
