“Mentoring gives me an opportunity to re-invest from all those who supported me as a young thing with lots of passion”.
These are the words of Janet Cropley, a resident of the Mount Alexander Shire and highly experienced business person who works closely with community service organisations to achieve better business outcomes. Janet was the mentor for Caroline Sarah of Social Change 101 Bendigo, with Make a Change and School for Social Entrepreneurs.
Recently graduating student, now fellow of SSE Caroline Sarah valued Janet’s time and her probing questions. Directing a start up can be exciting and overwhelming. Mentoring for a budding changemaker is useful to identify when your direction needs to change or
be dropped altogether.
Changemakers, no matter what stage of their project is at can feel stuck or need advice. Nut it Out is a lunch time date with Make a Change and other changemakers . Together, using the wisdom of the group and the social entrepreneur experience of
facilitator Karen Corr, you will find your next steps.
