Saltworks is a not for profit organisation based in Eaglehawk, a suburb of Bendigo. Their main aim is to connect people to the community and facilitate meaningful and healthy interactions between local people, with a focus on supporting the disadvantaged and marginalised. Over the last 25 years they have been achieving this through delivery of a weekly community meal, cooking classes and a community Christmas gathering.
Saltworks are looking for new programs to continue and expand their support of local community. They are looking for all kind of services; education; experiences; skills development; as well as fun, social and inclusive activities to enrich people, that might like to link to their facilities and resources.
They are open to all ideas – big and small – that could benefit others. They are interested in recruiting volunteers and are happy to hear about new ways to engage with you and grow connections.
