June 25, 2024 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Free
Come along to this casual inclusive afternoon tea, hosted by Make a Change Australia with The Station Cafe
Hear from local speakers & discuss ideas over a cuppa & cake
Big weather will impact young people more than anyone else in the future. At this gathering, we’ll hear from young people about their experiences & responses
Speakers include:
- Kelsey MacDonald & Jemille McKenzie from the Youth Climate Network
- Sam Kane with his incredible story of campaigning to save the Golden Square pool from the age of 14
- Saf Rowe, Maryborough Education Centre student
This is a fantastic opportunity to understand the unique perspectives of young people & to explore how we can integrate their insights & energy into our efforts to tackle BIG weather challenge
Everyone is welcome, & we’d love to see you there!
