Hardik Jani moved to Bendigo last year from Adelaide. Since making Bendigo his home he has become very active in the community, working towards hosting an event that binds the diverse Indian community in Central Victoria.
“We are organizing an event that is very inclusive and involves all parts of Bendigo’s diverse Indian community,” Hardik goes onto explain; “Indians often stay within their own cultural groups, but we wants to use performance and dance as a way for everyone to get collaborating and celebrating together.”
The event has been set for the 20th of December to bring together Indian artists from all cultural backgrounds.
We have a team of people, who are working behind the scenes, but we would love if more volunteers get involved, we are working towards this becoming an annual iconic Bendigo event to share Indian culture and heritage.
