The Buloke Shire Council has initiated a new program to acknowledge and support local and grassroots contribution in the region.
In recognition of the enormous offering people make in volunteering time and giving generously to community. In particular those who run critical local support and community services.
From March to September 2022, all residents, businesses and organisations are invited to take part in the ways outlined below...

More ways to connect
Join the Make a Change Facebook Group to connect with like-minded people. This is a place for anyone who wants to make a change. It’s for sharing knowledge, ideas, inspiration and support, assisting all to keep going!
Delivered by Make a Change, this initiative aims to raise awareness, introduce new ideas, expand existing initiatives, create new outcomes, and invite broader participation. All for the benefit of residents, neighbourhoods, towns, and the community as a whole.
Everyone is welcome! From individuals, interested locals, young people, caring neighbours, leaders & changemakers. To sports clubs, community groups, service providers, not for profits, committees, project teams & more!
Whether already involved in local groups and actively contributing, thinking about ideas for new projects, or simply curious to know more. This program will support you to be more effective in both your personal and potentially public goals.
