If
you are someone that wants to create change whether in your
organisation or to the wider community, engaging others is absolutely
essential in order to succeed.
There are so many ways to engage others and it really does depend on your audience and what you are trying to achieve.
Thinking
about what you can do to better engage with your stakeholders is like
opening up a can of worms and it can be daunting to know where to start.
Getting
more likes on Facebook is one thing, or getting more people to sign up
to a newsletter is another. But what we’re talking about here is how do
you get people on board with what you are wanting to achieve such that
they become involved and take action in the way that you want them to?
We’ve
got lots of examples we can share with you on where we have
successfully done this. Examples that range from getting more people to
take part on change making projects, to getting people in your team on
board with your vision for change for your business, to getting more
people to turn up to an event that will make a difference, to getting
financial partners on board.
You
can read some of our top tips here. In the meantime, here is a
template you can use to develop your own Engagement Action Plan.
